ROCCAT Kulo Vitrual 7.1 Gaming Headset isn’t messing around

If you are an avid gamer, you know how important sound is. If you can’t hear which direction your enemy is coming from, you definitely can’t turn to defend yourself or attack them. The best way to listen to the intricacies of your game is through a headset. They’re commonly known for blocking out exterior noise, and making for a more immersive gaming experience.

ROCCAT is becoming quite well-known amongst the gaming community, and they have churned out the Kulo Virtual 7.1 USB Gaming Headset. These have an external sound card, and 40mm drivers with neodymium magnets that are said to deliver “balanced bass and trebles”. One of the biggest problems with headsets is that the better they are, the more uncomfortable they are. Of course, this isn’t the case with all of the different types out there, but ROCCAT is hoping they can beat the odds with this audio device.

It’s lightweight, and comes with two sets of differently sized ear pads. This is welcome relief considering most are usually a one-size-fits-all that end up pressing your ear into the side of your head. Instead of worrying about whether or not you’ve muted your microphone, they’ve made it automatic. If the mic is down, it’s on, and if it’s folded up, it’s off. This only costs $80, which isn’t bad for a gaming headset if it’s as good as the other products ROCCAT had made in the past.
