Stiltz Home Lift Elevator – easier than sliding down a pole to the BatCave

hiome Elevator
There comes a time in life when plodding up and down the stairs becomes too difficult. If you’re living in a two-story house with bad joints, it just will not do. You can get a motorized chair to go over-top your staircase that will slowly glide you up the steps, but if you’re capable of standing, this can be a bit of a blow to your pride. Wouldn’t it be awesome if you could instead have your own, personal elevator?

Sounds pretty pricey right? Well of course it will be! The Stiltz Home Lift elevator systems are capable of going from one floor to the next with up to three people or a wheelchair inside. While they cost anywhere from over $12,000-14,000, it will definitely make you feel as though you have a secret BatCave in your house. Who knows, Adam West may have had one of these installed for laughs as he is getting along in his years.

There are three models to choose from, depending on your need or personal preference. There is the Duo, which can move two passengers up or down within thirty seconds, the Vista, which is made of a clear polycarbonate so it won’t clash with your decorum, and the Trio Lift, which can move three people or a wheelchair. As it runs on an electric motor on the top of the lift, you won’t be burdened by loud noises coming from it being on. You can toss in more money to make it blend in with its surroundings, but really, it’s all dependent on what you need, and how much extra money you have lying around.

Thanks for featuring our home elevator. Just wanted to point out that the pricing in the USA for the products is not correct. An end-user can expect to pay about $18,500-$20,000 for the Duo product including all installation work. This is on par with the UK prices once you factor installation and UK tax at 20%.

Even at $20,000, it’s still not pricey when compared to the costs (including emotional) involved with moving and giving up the home you love.
