Jabra STONE turns white

No, the Jabra STONE did not take a different turn and stumbled upon a ghost to change its shade into pure white, but it is meant to spruce up your home with a different color. After all, white does lend an air of calmness and soothing to any room, and is more than capable of brightening the atmosphere. The white Jabra STONE was unveiled at CTIA Wireless 2010 recently, where it hopes to ride on the previous success of the original Jabra STONE which exceeded sales expectations while picking up a slew of bouquets from journalists worldwide when it was released at the end of last year. The new white Jabra STONE will be available to consumers from AT&T in the near future – specifically from May 16th onwards.

Just what does the white version of the Jabra STONE offer? Well, it basically brings the same kind of functionality as its predecessor, where you get a revolutionary wireless Bluetooth headset that merges style, superior sound quality, ease-of-use and portability in a single, portable package. The White version of the Jabra STONE will also be styled in a similar manner, once again breaking the mold of what a traditional Bluetooth headset looks like, making you feel to actually wear one out in public instead of looking like a Secret Service reject.

Shaped like no other headset on the market, the white Jabra STONE elegantly wraps itself behind the ear, eliminating the standard on-face microphone without compromising on performance thanks to its Noise Blackout Extreme technology. This wireless portable charger will function as a compact carrying case that fits into the palm of your hand, all you need to do is plug it into the charger and juice it up wherever and whenever you fancy. Features include discreetly placed controls which are a snap to operate, a nearly invisible touch-controlled volume pad located right on the outside of the headset, the fancy Jabra StatusDisplay that lets you check on battery level and Bluetooth connectivity at a glance, alongside Multiuse capabilities which will effortlessly connect a couple of Bluetooth enabled devices simultaneously. The Jabra STONE can also stream audio from A2DP enabled cellphones without missing a beat. Retailing for $129.99 this May 16th, the Jabra STONE ships with a Micro USB and AC Charger, and a belt clip for easy wearing.
