Universal Network Cable

by

Don’t you just love international standards? After all, it is those that prevent the world from being a complete mess as you will be able to use a USB cable (for example) regardless of which country you are at. Well, the Universal Network Cable sure sounds as though it will come in handy, especially when it allows you to alter the wiring standard with but a single click without having to worry about going from straight through to crossover. There are five cable types in total in a single connector – all you need to do is rotate the center to the cable that is required at that point in time, and you’re good to go. Among the cable options include rolled, crossover, straigh-through, loopback and T1, all going for a mere $24.99 a pop.

Good in theory. Won’t pan out in practice.

I bought one, and it works VERY WELL in practice! I’m a mobile tech, this is exactly what we need!
