The iDuck Wireless Speaker

by Ally

I love having music in the shower, like many others do, but most shower speakers that are meant to hook up with your iPod aren’t interesting in the least.  Not to mention being overly expensive, but I finally dealt with it and bought one (it’s nowhere near as cute as this duck).  Unfortunately I bought one that keeps your iPod inside and my poor iPod Touch has to be crammed in the compartment with a bit of not so gentle force.  With this little duck speaker you could keep your iPod safe and someplace dry, while the duck plays your music in the shower/bath tub.

Just plug your iPod into the egg and it will wirelessly transmit the music to the duck.  The obnoxious part of the duck is that it takes about ten batteries to keep it going.  It needs 4 AAA for the duck and then 3 AAA for the egg.  Hopefully it’s not like my speakers, which will kill the batteries in no time if you’re not careful.  If you’re in the mood for a bit of mood lighting, the duck can change between four different colors.  To pick up the iDuck it will cost you £27.99 or about $40.  Sadly, as of now these are all sold out.

Not green at all. The amount of batteries needed is ridiculous and wasteful to the environment. I’d ban this product from being made further. This duck will be a flop.

“This duck will be a flop.”

The sold out duck, you mean? Hahaha.

“The amount of batteries needed is ridiculous and wasteful to the environment”

Wasteful TO the environment? Wasteful of the Earth’s resources, perhaps? Even when said correctly, it is still untrue.

1. Learn to speak correctly.
2. Go back to the forest, you filthy hippie.

Thank you, that is all.
