Minox DC 7022 slim and compact

Just when you thought the digital compact camera class could not get any slimmer or smaller, Minox proves everybody wrong with the Minox DC 7022. This new model measures an extremely svelte 94.5mm x 55mm x 23mm and definitely grabs top spot in the ultra flat digital camera category. Minox also proves that its beauty is not only skin deep, as the DC 7022 comes jam packed with features that are comparable with other cameras which are much larger. What you get with the DC 7022 includes a seven megapixel resolution sensor, a 28mm wide angle lens with 4x optical zoom, and a 3″ TFT color display for crystal clear previews, all packed into a smooth, black anodized aluminum body.

Being this compact in size, it is no surprise that the Minox DC 7022 weighs a mere 104 grams and can be housed in any pocket without having you realize that it is there. Electronic image stabilization has been included into the DC 7022, enabling you to capture picture perfect shots every time despite the low light conditions around the subject or even when suffering from an occasional case of the shakes. The 1/2.5″ CCD image sensor works great with the MINOCTAR lens, delivering exceptionally sharp and brilliant images with every shot. You’ll be able to capture images in a fast sequence thanks to the speedy and exact autofocus as well as short shutter delay. Several customization options include several flash functions and the flexibility of adjusting the sensor’s sensitivity from ISO 50 all the way to ISO 1600 in half a dozen stages.

While the 32MB internal memory is there for emergencies, it is nice to see Minox throw in SDHC compatibility, giving you up to 4GB of storage space at any one time. Each purchase of the Minox DC 7022 comes with a power adapter, an USB and video cable, a lithium ion battery, a wrist strap, a user manual, complete software on a CD-ROM, and a carry case.

Great. Where can you buy it and at what price. I used to have the 16 mm minox. What a camera!
