Western Digital Passport carries plenty

wd-passport.jpgWestern Digital has recently dropped the 250GB capacity WD Passport Portable Drive that offers way more storage capacity than what the average household computer has today. At 250GB, you have more than enough empty space than you can shake a BitTorrent file at. What makes this all the more appealing is the Passport Portable’s ability to backup files on your hard drive at the touch of a button. Features include plug-and-play capability, a stylish exterior, and an ultra-portable design, all packed into a sleek piano black finish.

The Passport Portable weighs extremely light at a mere 5 ounces, making it a suitable addition to any pocket or backpack. For those who work with extremely large files, you will probably want to give the WD Passport Portable a shot. A 250GB Passport Portable retails for approximately $199. Are you already making regular backups of your data, or do you still hold on to the “it won’t happen to me” attitude?

Most newer MB allow the use of SATA HD’s. I advise a new build take advantage of this technology and then still back up your drives.
