Slipstreamz Cycling Headphones

by Liam

I know that one of the most jolting things that can happen to you on a bike is suddenly hearing a horn blaring from behind you. I usually bike with my ear buds in, however, I find sometimes just the wind makes it hard to hear whether or not you’re about to be flattened like a pancake.

The Slipstreamz is a new gadget that allows you to listen to your music while allowing you to hear the street noise as well as blocking the wind noise! Your ear buds are connected to the ear pieces which are then attached to the straps of your helmet (so yes, it makes you stay safe as well!). They hold the ear buds just far enough out from your ears to let you hear the music, but not shut out the sounds around you. They can also block that annoying noise the wind makes while you’re whizzing down the street, and could act as ear muffs when it’s cold but you just have to be out there.

I know where I live it illegal to listen to music and ride a bike, or drive any vehicle 🙂

Well with these maybe people wouldn’t be able to see that you were actually listening to music. 🙂

I’m not sure i’d like these over my ears. I’d prefer a speaker system for my bike if I was going to have something.
